The following page contains some links to film resources I have found online and would like to share with you.
This will be continuously updated so please do check back time after time.
Into Films
This link brings you to a site with an abundance of films and short films with resources and lesson already prepared.
It is created for a British curriculum but can definitely be adapted for Ireland with little effort.
You do have to sign up for free. However, as it is aimed for the UK, some of the resources you cannot access with an Irish school.
Little tip you didn’t here from me: Enter in a random school, it does not verify. Shhhh…

Film in Focus: IFI with Alicia McGivern and JCT Advisors
This is a PDF of a film resource pack containing framework learning outcomes and key skills specific for film.
It also contains some extracts and worksheets for the language of literature and the language of film as well as a list of Elements of Film and their explanations.
Additionally, it also links some useful sites at the end of the PDF.

BFI has a variety of resources that are regularly updated.
This site may be a little more detailed and more appropriate for senior cycle students.
